Winter
Park, Florida ..October 1, 2005 - Lance Walker, Sr.,
President of Central Florida based Walker & Company,
Inc., announces project updates.
Construction
has recently been completed on the Cornell Fine Arts
Museum at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL. The 11,000
sq. ft. project was designed by ACI of Winter Park and
involved new construction and renovations to the existing
building, creating new gallery space, administrative
and storage space. This was Walker & Company's seventh
project on the prestigious Rollins Campus.
Construction
has begun on The
Hampton Park Office Building at Bumby and Robinson
in downtown Orlando. The two-story, 25,000 s.f. block
structure is the future home of the Orlando Housing
Authority. Designed by Fugleberg Koch, for Developer
Colonialtown Community Builders, the project is slated
for completion in July of 2006.
Cagan
Town Center in Clermont, designed by Robert Herrmann
Architect of Naples consists of four two-story buildings
which will house 60,000 s.f. of retail space on the
first floor and fifty (50) apartment units on the second
floor. The Cagan Management project is constructed with
a block exterior and hollow core 2nd floor slab, wood
trussed roof with asphalt shingles. There are elevators
at each building and the property features extensive
upscale hardscape and landscape areas.
