Winter Park, Florida ... June 1, 2003 - Lance Walker, Sr., President of Central Florida based Walker & Company Construction, Inc., announced $25.3 million in new Multifamily projects underway in Central Florida.

The Academy Apartments in Osceola County is a 216 unit multifamily project for Cagan Management Group of Clermont, FL. The project was designed by Charlan Brock & Associates of Maitland, FL and consists of 9 three-story buildings, a clubhouse and pool.

The Lakehurst Village Apartments in Port Orange, FL designed by Forum Architecture of Altamonte Springs, FL is comprised of 223 units, a clubhouse, pool, maintenance/car wash and garages. The Humphrey Companies of Columbia, MD is the owner of this project.

Beachside Apartments is a 55 unit multifamily housing project that includes two three-story masonry buildings, detached garages and a clubhouse. The project is located in Satellite Beach, FL and was designed by MAI Architects Engineers, Inc. of Melbourne, FL. ZimMark Enterprises Ltd. of Vero Beach is the owner.
