WALKER & COMPANY CONSTRUCTION, INC.
Winter
Park, Florida ... May 1, 2003 - Lance Walker, Sr., President
of Central
Florida based Walker & Company Construction, Inc.,
announced the construction start of the New Dillard
Street Replacement Elementary School for Orange County
Public Schools. This 92,613 s.f. elementary school will
accommodate 934 students. The $8,900,000 project, designed
by Schenkel Shultz Architecture, is a two-story tilt
wall prototype with a brick exterior and standing seam
metal roof.
Walker
also announced the completion of the themed Clubhouse
at Bahama
Bay Resort in Davenport, Florida. Built for Maesbury
Homes, Inc. the 16,117 s.f. Clubhouse features Bahamian
Design and Décor and includes conference rooms,
fitness area, saunas, luxurious pool and spa, locker
rooms, game room, media center and spacious lounges
for entertaining.
The Scott Partnership designed the $1.5 million project.
