Winter Park based General Contractor/Construction Manager, Walker & Company is starting construction on three Orange County Public Schools.

Waterbridge Elementary School is a comprehensive remodel and addition project designed by Stottler Stagg & Associates, Cape Canaveral, FL.  The school is in the first stage of construction.  The project size is 75,000 s.f. new construction and 22,193 s.f. of renovation with a completion date set for December, 2010.

The Design Build Project, Chickasaw Elementary School, is a  comprehensive remodel and addition project for Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) awarded to the Central Florida Walker & Company/Hunton Brady Architect/Praise Construction Team.  Chickasaw Elementary School is in the preliminary stage of construction.  The school’s comprehensive program is 41,000 s.f. new construction and 29,100 s.f. of renovations.  The completion date is scheduled for May, 2011.

Walker Middle School, 68,000 s.f. new and 118,000 s.f. renovation, designed by Rhodes & Brito, from Orlando Florida has just begun construction.  The school’s addition and renovation is scheduled for completion in March, 2012.
